According to PhoneArena, Nexus tablet is likely to be launched at the Google I/O conference (June 27-29) and runs on its latest mobile operating system Android 4.0.

Google's latest tablet also boasts of other features such as a front-facing camera and a full-function primary camera at the back.

                               Google Chrome Ready To Become A Windows 8 Metro Live Tile

In March, Google officials promised the company will launch the Metro-style Chrome for Windows 8, and now the web browser  is getting ready for the official launch.,,,,....

As about the x86 edition of Google Chrome, it integrates Windows-8 specific features, like the snap view system used to display more apps in the simultaneously and the so-called charm bars – used to display the tools and extra functions in the Metro-compatible apps.

For the time being, Google Chrome for Windows 8 and the open-source Chrominum are on the verge of leaving the internal testing session, then they will become available for download via Dev channel.

In theory, creating a Google Chrome version compatible with the ARM architecture shouldn’t be a problem for a company like Google, which has a lot of experience on this segment.

In the real world, many of the software developers interested in creating Windows RT applications, with Mozilla among them, complained about the limitations imposed by the API created for this operating system, accusing Microsoft for favoring Internet Explorer, artificially limiting any other web browser.

Google Tried To Buy Color For $200

If that headline looks familiar to you, you’re probably remembering our story about Google offering to buy Path for $100+ million from earlier this year. Path turned that deal down.

About the same time, multiple sources have confirmed, Google was also making a run forColor, the mobile social network founded by Bill Nguyen. This was well before Color launched, and Google was looking at the company’s potential as well as the team. Google offered $200 million for the company, according to our sources.

Color turned down the deal, say our sources. They then raised $41 million in debt and equity capital from Bain, Sequoia Capital and Silicon Valley Bank. That round valued the company at $167 million.

Should Color have taken the Google deal? Absolutely yes. The company has stumbled since launching, has failed to live up to its own hype and has lost founder Peter Pham and Chief Product Officer DJ Patil.

That said, it’s always nice to have the benefit of hindsight. At the time that Google was trying to acquire Color, the company had a killer team, a strong, bold vision and top tier investors willing to pile money into the startup. Entrepreneurs don’t start companies to sell them before they even launch.

With the benefit of hindsight, though…Wow.

Google Shuts Down Google Labs To Prioritize Its Product Efforts

Ever since Larry Page took the reigns from Eric Schmidt earlier this year, Google has been reorganizing its strategies and product focus. One of the measures taken by Larry Page was to shut down Google Labs in an attempt to prioritize its focuses. While the Google Labs projects will not be killed, the website itself will go down as currently there is no point in keeping it.

          China Is Already Blocking Google+

That didn’t take long. Tons of people haven’t even gained access to the Google+ field trialyet, but that hasn’t stopped Chinese authorities from blocking Google’s brand new social networking project, reports Ren Media.

Indeed, Just Ping and theGreatfirewallofchina.org website both confirm that plus.google.com is not accessible from mainland China.

The censoring itself isn’t too surprising; Chinese authorities aren’t too keen on U.S. social networks and block services such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Foursquare.

Still, I’m taken aback by how swiftly China responded to the formal debut of Google+, which until further notice is an invitation-only beta product (although, admittedly, one that has enjoyed a lot of international press over the past 24 hours).

GOOGLE NEXUS PRIME WITH ANDROID WITH HD SCREENS

Google has already launched two smartphones of its own, the NexusOne and the Nexus S. Although they haven’t been very successful, there is no doubt that Google is working on a third mobile phone just like Apple is developing the fifth-generation iPhone that will be revealed this fall. A couple of weeks ago we reported that the next Google Nexus smartphone is already in production and that it will be the first Android Ice Cream Sandwich-powered device. Now we’re back with a confirmation from an inside source who says that this will be the first handset to offer a pure Google experience.

The source claims that the next Google phone will be called Nexus Prime and that it will be manufactured by Samsung. The South Korean-based company will equipthe Nexus Prime with a Super AMOLED HD touchscreen that will feature a 720p HD resolution like the name suggests. The last time we talked about the next Nexus phone we thought that it will be made by Motorola, but Google has developed a beautiful relationship with Samsung so the rest is history.

The previous rumor said that the upcoming Nexus phonewill have a HD resolution so everything falls into place. Although we don’t have an official confirmation, the source has been accurate many times before therefore we can safely assume that the Google Nexus Prime will be the first (or at least among the first) smartphone in the world with a 720p HD resolution.

The source added that Google will have a different approach this time as it will work closely with multiple carriers to bring the Nexus Prime to all consumers in the US and the rest of the world faster. Google wants to avoid the complains of its fans therefore it will try to combine cutting-edge hardware with state-of-the art software in order to give the start to a perfect campaign.

The good thing is that the Google Nexus Prime will not have any OEM customization so the users will get updates in no time but current Nexus owners are accustomed with this situation. The Super AMOLED HD touchscreen will display the quickness of an OMAP4460 processor and, like said, Android Ice CreamSandwich will sweeten the deal even further.
