SAMSUNG LATEST PRODUCT | SAMSUNG LATEST UPDATE | SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 UPDATE | RELEASE DATE OF SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 | SAMSUNG GALAXY S3 NEWS

Samsung Galaxy S3 Release Date

Samsung Galaxy S3 was officially introduced a month ago at Samsung Unpacked event in London and it already hit more than 28 markets so far.

Previous rumors have indicated that the Samsung Galaxy S3 might hit the second largest US carrier on June 18th, but the guys at droidmatters have new details about the flagship’s availability.

The Europeans were the first to get their hands on Samsung’s new flagship and new the US market is getting ready to receive the freshly-announced handset.

One of their readers, who is an AT&T customer, sent in a photo from AT&T’s pre-order page that indicates that Galaxy S3 will be shipped “on or before” June 21st.

Therefore AT&T joins the list of carries that will launch the Samsung Galaxy S3 on June 21st, after T-Mobile and Sprint already announced that the dual-core smartphone will arrive on their shelves on the aforementioned date. On the other hand, US’ biggest carrier, Verizon will make Galaxy S3 available for purchase on July 9th.

The Samsung Galaxy S3 variant for the US market will bring the American customers reasons to cheer as it will sport 4G LTE connectivity and 2 GB of RAM.

But the LTE support comes at an expense, as, in US, the Samsung flagship will come with a Qualcomm dual-core Snapdragon S4 chipset instead of the mighty quad-core Exynos 4 Quad processor.

Besides Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, Samsung Galaxy S3 comes with impressive features like S-Voice (a rival for Apple’s Siri), S-Beam (high-speed file transfer via NFC and WiFi Direct), Burst Shot and Best Photo (takes 20 photos in burst mode, chooses the best one and deletes the rest), Smart Stay (using eye-tracking technology, the display won’t dim off as long you are looking at it), Pop up play (allows to user to watch a video in windowed mode on any homescreen) and many other such treats.
Except for the RAM and chipset, Samsung Galaxy S3 will have the same technical specs as the international model: 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display, 32 GB of internal storage and 50 GB of Dropbox free storage for two years, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash and full HD video recording capabilities, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct, Wi-Fi hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and NFC chip.

samsung ultra series 9 | latest review of laptop | samsung laptop review | latest product review

Samsung Series 9 Ultra-portable Laptops Receive New Chipsets And Prices

We all heard about Apple and their famous line of PCs, called Macs. As you probably know Apple’s main rival on the smartphones market is Samsung, the company that is constantly trying (without success so far) to gun down Apple as the world’s biggest devices manufacturer.
And guess what? Samsung even have a rival for Apples MacBook Air line of laptopts.
If you are impressed by MacBook Air, but you are the Windows kind of guy, then you should wait unitl Asus UX21 hits the market. Another option is the Series line-up coming form Samsung, laptops that are already available on the market. Unfortunately Samsung 9 Series notebooks are not available on all markets. Anyway, Samsung announced that the ultra-portable and ultra-slim notebooks will now receive new Intel Sandy Bridge processors, and their price will be more competitive.
We are talking about the 11.6-inch model shipped out with the Intel Core i3-2357M processor, 4GB DDR3 and SSD of 128GB. It will debut on the market in August at a price of $1,250. At the moment, Apple is selling it 11.6-inch MacBook Air at a price of $1,400. Some sources familiar with Apple’s marketing strategies claim that the new MacBook Air running on Sandy Bridge and Thunderbolt might be launched even sooner than the new models of Samsung Series 9.
As about the Samsung Series 9 model featuring 13-inch display, it will receive a new Core i7-2627M chipset, 6GB of DDR3 and a 256GB SSD. The price tag of this very attractive configuration will be of $2,050. The ones wanting a Core i5-2467M and only 4GB DDR3 could pay only $1.650 for the device.
Apple’s offer for MacBook Air with 13-inch display includes a 1.86GB Core 2 Duo chipset, 2GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD, with a price tag of $1.600 hanged on it.
Summing up, we are pleased to see that the performances of the ultra-portable notebooks are going up while the prices are going down. Hurray!

SAMSUNG GALAXY Z | LATEST SAMSUNG PRODUCT | SAMSUNG GALAXY Z IN SWEDEN

The highly popular Samsung Galaxy series has got one more addition to its line-up. The latest entrant is the Galaxy Z, which is said to be a pocket-friendly sibling of the Galaxy S II. This is much like what Galaxy LCD has been to the original Galaxy. To our surprise, the announcement has come from the Swedish operator 3, but a formal announcement from the Korean giant may soon follow.

The device looks similar to the Galaxy S II, with slight changes in keys and possibly a brushed metal finish at the back. The phone is powered by a 1 GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 chip. The 5 megapixel camera is reportedly capable of 720p video recording. According to the listing, the phone has 8 GB onboard storage, as well as 32 GB memory card support. However, the device will sport a 4.2 Super Clear LCD instead of the premium SuperAMOLED Plus seen on the Galaxy S II. On the software front, the phone boasts the latest version of Android, which is 2.3 (Gingerbread)

The swedish operator has priced the Samsung Galaxy Z at 3995 kronor (approx Rs 28,350). We currently have no information on the device s availability in India, but looking at the response met by previous iterations of the Galaxy, we are pretty confident that Samsung won't keep us waiting for a long time.

Samsung Galaxy Z, A Galaxy S II Lite, With SC-LCD Display And 1GHz CPU

Even though Samsung is fighting hard to respond to Apple’s attacks, it seems that the Korean company is still taking some time to launch new models.
few days ago we told you that Samsung might be preparing some kind of successor for Samsung Galaxy S II, a smartphone that will come with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, and will be sold under the name of Samsung Galaxy S II Plus.
We were almost right, but instead of receiving an upgraded version, SGS2 has received some kind of downgraded version. It was named Samsung Galaxy Z, and the model was seen in world premiere at the Swedish carrier Three.
Samsung Galaxy Z is like a hybrid between Galaxy SL (I9003) and Galaxy S II. The device comes with a 4.2-inch SC-LCD, replacing the Super AMOLED Plus from SGS2, and with a 5MP camera instead of an 8MP one like its bigger brother features. Samsung Galaxy Z can only record videos at 720p resolution and not Full HD, like the direct successor of Samsung Galaxy S does.
More than this, the processor of Galaxy Z is a dual core Tegra 2 of 1GHz and not the 1.2GHz Exynos on Galaxy SII. Not to talk about a 1.4GHz dual core, as early rumors reported.
There are also aesthetic differences, as the new Samsung device is 9.5mm thick (1mm thicker than SGS2) and weighs in 135g. Samsung Galaxy Z will feature 8GB of internal memory, but you can extend it with a microSD card.
The price tag of Galaxy Z is of about $630, making it pretty accessible and dangerously attractive when compared to similar HTC Rivals. As about the North American release date, we’re expecting it, too.

                   Review: Samsung Galaxy Ace

An Android with a lost identity.

Multitasking; 5 megapixel camera; 3.5" screen, 800 MHz CPU

Uninspiring design; No Flash support; Lacklustre media performance

                                                            DESIGN AND SPECS

    Samsung Galaxy Ace
    MRP: Rs 15,945
    Street Price: Rs 15,200 Source 1Source 2

Samsung, a noodle-producing company in the year 1938, became a successful wool producer post the Korean War. Later, it left a mark in businesses such as insurance, securities, and retail, before entering the black-and-white TV market. Today, this TV giant also produces memory chips, hard drives, and laptops, along with numerous other consumer electronics products. It is also the world s second largest mobile producer after Nokia. Seriously, its tagline should have been Jack of all trades .

Getting to the point, here is the review of the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Why so late, you ask. Well, the phone didn't create an impact at the time of its release, but seeing the large number of review requests, we finally decided get it done.

    Design And Specs

The retail package contains a phone, charger, headset, and a micro-USB data cable. The headset looks and feels cheap, and it s not what you d expect at this price tag. The phone has a "typical" Samsung design scheme. If you ve been keeping track of Samsung s touch catalogue, you must have noticed that its phones all look identical, with a few minor changes here and there. Makes you wonder if Samsung's design team is plain dumb or just underpaid (like us). Have a look at the image to get an idea what I m talking about. Out of these phones, you can also try to guess the Galaxy Ace, to win... well, nothing.

The Ace measures 112.4 mm (h) x 59.9 mm (w) x 11.5 mm (d). The body is too plastic, including the silver-coloured rim. It features a 3.5" screen, which is slightly bigger when compared to its fellow mid-range Androids. Below the screen are three keys, namely Menu, Home, and Back. The first and last are actually capacitive keys that are only visible when backlit. However, the light turns off in around 5 seconds, which can be frustrating for new users. I guess Samsung wants to hide these keys most of the time to make its device look like an iPhone

Here are some shots of the phone from several angles.

The back has a nice textured pattern that provides a superior grip over this 113 gramme device.

Samsung phones always look good on paper, and this one is no exception. The Ace is powered by a Qualcomm MSM7227, which is also to be found in the LG Optimus One. However, Samsung has clocked it at 800 MHz, giving it more power. This ARM 11 CPU has an Adreno 200 GPU for company. For connectivity, it features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v2.1, and GPS. You can't expect an HDMI-out in Android phones at this price range, but at least TV-out would have been a good addition.

    Display

The 3.5" TFT LCD screen can display up to 320x480 pixels. The display size gives it an edge over the LG Optimus One and HTC Wildfire S. However, the screen looks odd because of an unusual height-to-width ratio. The screen is reasonably bright, but colours look lifeless. It offers decent viewing angles, but its reflective glass spoils the experience. Needless to say, the screen quality degrades further in broad daylight.
