Drake’s Deception Multiplayer Beta Public Goes Live Today

Naughty Dog has announced that the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception has entered the public beta stage today meaning that anybody without a PlayStation Plus account can access the multiplayer beta game.
Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception release date is November 1st, 2011, but until then, Sony and Naughty Dog have decided to test the game in public beta in order to fix as many problems as possible before the official launch of the upcoming installment in the Uncharted franchise.
You can download Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer Beta free at the PlayStation Store right now, but it depends on your location as the game will be gradually pushed to various regions across the globe.
The game is published by Sony Computer Entertainment so this means that Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will only be available on the PS3 platform, just like all other Uncharted games released so far.
Sony and Naughty Dog have also updated the game to version 1.00.647 which comes packed with Team Deathmatch, Team Objective, Co-Op Hunter, Free For All, and Hardcore modes, along with two maps called Airstrip and Chateau.
Apparently, the game will remain in the public beta stage for less than a week until July 9th, but maybe Sony will extend the “trial” period for an extra week if things go well – leaving tons of forum posts on the developer’s forums might help, just like your positive feedback so make sure you appreciate the work of the devs and point out the problems with calm.
Let me know if you’ve played Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Multiplayer Beta so far and what do you think about the game.
P.S. You can pre-order Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception at Amazon right here for a price of $59.99, and theCollector’s Edition here for $99.99.
P.P.S. We hate the fact that Sony and Naughty Dog are doing what EA is doing with Battlefield 3. If you buy the game from Amazon, then you will receive special content like the Carpet Bomb Kickback, and Clip Size Mod packs. That doesn’t sound too fair so we should do something about it.
