MOTOROLA ATRIX 4G | LATEST MOTOROLA PRODUCT | LATEST MOTOROLA ATRIX | LATEST UPDATE OF MOTOROLA ATRIX

Besides the 4G version designed exclusively to AT&T, Motorola also has a global Atrix. The differences between the two are almost absent. We are talking about the same 118x64x10.1mm and 135g, with a 4-inch capacitive display, with 16M colors and 960×540 resolution.
Inside Motorola Atrix you will find nVidia’s Tegra 2 chipset, with a dual-core 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory, which you can extend using a microSD card. As about the connectivity of Atrix, it includes, GSM quad band, HSDPA quad band, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1, microUSB, miniHDMI and 3.5mm audio jack.
Motorola Atrix comes with a 5MP camera with LED flash, capable of recording videos at 720p, and even 1080p after an update.
We all know that AT&T is getting ready to include 4G LTE technology in their services line-up this fall, thus we expect new AT&T smartphones featuring 4G support to be launched shortly after.
Some leaked pictures of a Motorola phone have been spotted on a Chinese forum, and this might be the next Atrix device, which will come with 4G LTE support, and will be available only at AT&T.
As you probably expected the Motorola smartphone in the pictures is powered by Google’s Android, and rumor has it that it will feature a dual-core chipset from Texas Instruments.
We tend to believe that the device we are looking at will be the new Motorola Atrix featuring LTE technology, and after DROID Bionc launch was delayed, we might be seeing both those smartphone hitting the market in the same time.
As you probably know, AT&T carrier only offers HSPA+ network, and now they are working hard to launch their own LTE support, using technology similar to Verizon’s.
Since no one knows for sure if the device in the pics is really the next Atrix, we believe that it’s best to wait until Motorola decides to share some official information with us.

Android 2.3 Gingerbread | HTC Desire

Initially, HTC announced the Desire owners across the globe cannot install Android 2.3 Gingerbread on their smartphones because there isn’t enough RAM to support the OS. Hours after the statement, HTC returned and said that the company will try once again to bring Gingerbread to the Desire and that an update on the matter will become official by the end of the summer. Well, here we are in the first day of August and the HTC Desire is now upgradeable to Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
If you download Android 2.3 Gingerbread for HTC Desire then you will notice that the company has deleted everything from the system including the beautiful Sense UI, carrier apps, Facebook, contacts, emails, messages, and basically everything that was on your phone. If you want to keep your data, then you will need to setup a Google account and backup everything and then restore your data.
Anyway, the Sense UI won’t get back to your HTC Desire because, like said, there isn’t enough RAM to support it. HTC attentions users that they might brick their phones as only consumers with a registered developer account will be able to upgrade their smartphones.
Users can download Android 2.3 Gingerbread for the HTC Desire at  http://developer.htc.com/ right here.
It’s worth reminding that the carrier apps and customization are gone, too, and that in fact, all customization is gone from the HTC Desire as well as the wallpapers who can be found at the developer web page where you can also find the removed Facebook app, though the Android Market might be a viable solution, too.
If you thought that HTC kept its own apps on the Desire, then you’d be wrong as the HTC-developed apps are also missing from the smartphone. HTC has decided to cut down everything in order to make the consumers happy, however, most of them will probably choose to root the Desire and install a custom ROM with the help of XDA-Developers.
The Taiwan-based company has confirmed that the upgrade is available worldwide with a few exceptions including US, Canada, Japan, South Korea, and Germany so as long as you don’t live in these regions, you should be fine like this.
HTC wanted to let users know that some functionality like SMS and MMS might not work properly after they will upgrade the HTC Desire to Android 2.3 Gingerbread so don’t say you haven’t been warned.
The conclusion is this: only the experts can install this update and even if you would be able to get it done, nobody would ever want it because it lacks… well, everything.

Download WebOS | touchpad with 50 $ discount

On July 1st the US market met the new HP TouchPad WiFi , which is the first tablet running on WebOS 3.0. To be honest it looks pretty good, and the prices are attractive, as the 16GB version has a price tag of $499.99, while the 32GB can be yours for $599.99.
HP TouchPad weighs in about 740g and comes with a 9.7-inch TFT display with 16M colors and 1024×768 pixel resolution. Just like most of the new-gen tablets, HP’s TouchPad features accelerometer, multitouch imput, and gyroscope sensor.
When it comes to connecting your HP TouchPad with different devices, know that it has a 3.5mm jack, microUSB, WiFi and Bluetooth 2.1 with EDR and A2DP. HP TouchPad also features two stereo speakers and a 1.3MP camera.
The HP’s tablet sports Adobe Flash 10.1 support, digital compass, Touchstone technology, GPS, media player, HTML browser, dual-core 1.2GHz Scorpion processor and is running one HP WebOS 3.0. The 1230mAh battery offers a decent autonomy of 8hours.
WebOS is an operating system packed by HP’s smartphones, but now the American company also offers it with their tablets. There are few those thrilled by this OS, but it seems to be more stable and faster than Android and Windows 7.
And since HP launched their tablet a few months ago, now they decided to provide an update of the WebOS in order to improve the functionality of their device.
The new update, dubbed WebOS 3.0.2 comes with some new features, and as all the updates do, WebOS 3.0.2 also comes with fixed bugs. Therefore the over-the-air update will bring an enhanced auto-correction feature, wallpaper support and a better application for viewing your photos.
The HP TouchPad will be soon notified that the WebOS 3.0.2 firmware update is available for their tablets, and they will be able to download and install it using OTA method.
But this is not the only good news, as the company also announces price cuts for their HP TouchPad, and you can now save $50 and get the HP TouchPad 16GB for $449.99 and HP TouchPad 32GB for $549.99 from here.

FACEBOOK LATEST UPDATE | FACEBOOK LATEST NEWS | virus on facebook

Facebook has decided to follow the steps of other giants like Google, Mozilla, and Microsoft therefore any devs who will report bugs to company officials will be rewarded a bounty. The world’s largest social networking service has launched a new segment on its website called Whitehat which will bring $500 to any developers who find and report security flaws.
Although developers would better focus on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox as the rewards are higher, Facebook is a huge opportunity for them because the website is full of bugs and Mark Zuckerberg is aware of it. This is why Facebook cannot offer more than $500 per bug found as it wouldn’t want to take the company to the brink of bankruptcy.
The company is also praising the previous developers who found bugs and you can find details about all forty-two of them at the Facebook Whitehat website.
It’s well known that Google is offering lots of money at events like Pwn2Own for those who hack the Chrome browser while the Mozilla Foundation gives away up to $3000 along with a Firefox shirt for the devs who find critical security holes.
The same thing might happen with Facebook as the company says that the payment will rise along with the importance of the bug. Still, you will need to find the bugs before others as if two devs find the same bug, the first one to officially report it will be the one who will get the rewards so you’d better not shareyour findings with anyone.
Facebook is getting really serious about the security of the website as it recently hired the popular George Hotz who goes by the name GeoHot in the hackers’ world. GeoHot is the one who hacked the PS3 and pissed off Sony so hard that the company sued him. The two parties settled out of court, and when everything was over, the hacker was hired by Facebook even though GeoHot invited Sony to get him a job inside the company.
The social network has some rules for the devs who report bugs: they won’t have to share the details of the bug publicly and to be the first to disclose the bug. Please note that Facebook will not pay $500 to any devs who report bugs with 3rd party web pages who feature Facebook integration, and DDoS / spam-related bugs.
Well, nothing to see here folks, just move along to Microsoft as the Redmond-based giant offers more than $250,000 to any person who will offer information about the hackers who “developed” and released the Rustock botnet, just like it did with the MSBlast and the Sobig.F viruses. Sounds more interesting, right?

LATEST GAME TO EARN MONEY | DIABLO 3 | LATEST GAME DIABLO III | LATEST ONLINE WAY TO EARN MONEY

The most important members of the gaming press have been recently invited by Blizzard to test the coming beta version of the highly expected action RPG, Diablo III.
At this occasion, the Blizzard officials also made an amazing announcement: the Diablo III players will be able to trade the items they found in the game for real money, using the in-game Auction House.
The Diablo II players were already trading items they found during various game sessions, and this was a major factor that helped Blizzard decide to integrate a way of trading items in Diablo III, making it official.
The auction system will look very much alike those offered by specialized websites like e-Bay, and Blizzard will take their share after each transaction.
Still, Blizzard will not force the players to spend their money in a restricted circle, like Battle.net. Of course, you will be able to spend some of the money in the Blizzard virtual store, but you will not be forced to do so.
As well, just like it happens with the StarCraft II matchmaking, the access to the Diablo III Auction House will be restricted to certain geographic regions, depending on currency.
Besides the unveiling of the in-game auction system, Blizzard also let the journalists try the beta version of Diablo III for the first time.
The story of the game continues the events in Diablo II, and after the Evil threats were eliminated, everybody in Sanctuary returns to his normal life.
Tristram, a city that was decimated after the events in first Diablo, was rebuilt, and now became an important commercial center, mostly because the adventurers that keep returning there, in search of the artefacts lost between the ruins of the old monastery.
But a meteorite hits the monastery and starts a new invasion of the living-dead, and you will be able to play about half of the first act in the Diablo III beta version.
The end of the beta version will find you in a battle against an old friend of the Diablo fans: Leoric, The Skeleton King.
The most important changes in Diablo III gameplay have been made to the character’s leveling. Thus the points you were assigning to various stats in Diablo II (like strength, dexterity, mana, etc.) are gone, and your character will develop such stats on his own, depending on the type of hero you choose.
The skills system was also changed in Diablo III, and now each hero has six slots for active skills and three for the passive skills.
Two of the skill slots (active skills) will be unlocked once you start the game. Then once your hero levels up, the other slots will be unlocked, too, on level 6, 12, 18 and 24 for the active skills, and on levels 10, 20 and 30 for the passive skills.
The effects of each of these skills can be changed using the runestones. Thus, the players will be able to experiment more and more awesome skill versions, as they hero levels up.
The producers of Diablo III said that the levels 1 to 30 are dedicated to developing your hero, while the levels 31-60 should be reserved for finding the best equipment for your character.
When it comes to multiplayer, you will be able to play Diablo III via Battle.net, just like you do to StarCraft II. Still, in Diablo III each player will be able to create more heroes (like in Diablo II), and they will share the same stashes.
The objects sweep between the heroes of the same player so becomes much easier. The Battle.net integration (friends list, Real ID, Facebook imports) will have its price: Diablo III will require permanent Internet connection, even when you are playing a single player campaign.
The release date of Diablo III have not been set yet, but the Blizzard team wants to launch the beta version in the third quarter of 2011 (Q3 2011.

APPLE ICLOUD | APPLE ICLOUD BETA | IPAD FOR SKYPE | LATEST IPAD | LATEST IPAD UPDATE | IPAD FOIR SKYPE UPDATE

Apple has just launched iCloud for everybody with an Apple ID so now it would be the perfect time to ditch MobileMe and switch over to the company’s news cloud-based service. The iCloud.com website is now packing a way to login, however, you will need an iOS 5-powered device or a Mac OS X 10.7.2 computer.
While iOS 5 is in the beta stage right now, the Mac OS X 10.7.2 update has just been released for download so you can organize your data in the cloud where it will be safe. If you have an iCloud account, then you’ve probably organized your calendar, synced your contacts, and checking your Apple mail directly in your Safari browser.
In order to show you that you’re doing something wrong, Apple has compiled very cool 404 error web pages that will let you know if your browser is not supported, if JavaScript is not enabled, if cookies aren’t enabled, or simply if the page doesn’t exist.
The saddest part about Apple’s iCloud is that it doesn’t support the Google Chrome browser. That’s a bummer, but I’m sure Google is going to do something to update Chrome for Mac to support Apple’s latest service.
Now that iCloud is almost ready for everyone, you can stop using MobileMe thus saving $99 yearly. MobileMe will only be active until June 30th, 2012 as all features will be merged into iCloud so if you do like MM for some reason, then I suggest you take advantage of it while you still can.
iCloud will offer 5GB of free space and if you’re looking to get 10GB more, then you’ll be asked to pay $20 yearly, while 50GB more space is going to cost you $100. Sounds like a sweet deal, or you could always switch to Google services as they’re all free.
Apple is also working on Skype for iPad as the application has been prematurely released at the iOS Store. Some lucky users were able to download Skype for iPad and to their amazement, this version is a whole lot better than the Skype for iPhone application.
Skype for iPad worked on both 3G and WiFi networks and it’s really easy to start a conversation and video chatting. What’s worth noting, is that the iPad application will support instant messaging while you’re in a video call.
Sadly, the applications has been pulled from the iTunes Store due to the aforementioned reason. Hopefully, Skype for iPad will go back live for download so users can commence video chatting.

NOKIA SYMBIAN ANNA SMARTPHONE | NOKIA 500 | LATEST UPDATE OF NOKIA 500 | NOKIA 500 SYMBIAN ANNA | NOKIA LATEST MOBILE

Nokia 500 With Symbian Anna And 1GHz CPU Pics, Release Date And Price Becomes Official

Although Nokia is on the brink of epic failure, the company is releasing Symbian smartphones like crazy. Sales have dropped dramatically and Nokia is going to lose the first place on the smartphonemarket share by the end of the year as the second quarter of 2011 saw the company on the third place with 16 million phones sold, while Samsung and Apple sold 19 million, respectively 20 million. Well, here is the new Nokia 500, a middle-entry smartphone that will become available for purchase in late Q3 2011.
The Nokia 500 is running on a 1GHz CPU, the first Symbian smartphone to be powered by such processor. Nokia’s 500 is running on Symbian Anna and it features a 3.2-inch multitouch display with 640 x 360 resolution, 5-megapixel camera with EDoF and no flash, GPS, Bluetooth, WiFi, HSDPA, support for a microSD card, and built-in Nokia Maps like most Nokia smartphones.
Sadly, the Nokia 500 doesn’t feature a flash for its camera, nor a camera in the front to video chat with your Skype friends. Apparently, this is another music-focused device as the Finnish-based company is praising the battery of the smartphone which can provide up to 35 hours of continuous music playback.
The Symbian Anna-powered smartphone will be released by the end of September in Black or White, however, consumers will be able to purchase several covers for the Nokia 500 like Blue, Red, Pink, Orange, Purple, Silver, and Azure.
This 1GHz phone will be priced at only €150, but why would you spend this amount on a device that is full of bugs, with an ugly UI, that freezes all the time, that begins loading apps in June and ends loading them in August, and that doesn’t provide any fun whatsoever.
You can check a full Nokia 500 pics gallery below along with a couple of videos in order to show off some features of the smartphone. Personally, I’d stay away from the Nokia 500 and buy a low-budget Android smartphone.

IPAD 2 COMING | LATEST UPDATE OF IPAD 2

Apple has begun production on an incremental upgrade for the iPad 2, presenting the possibility of the first instance of mainstream and high-end iPad models, according to ananalyst.

"Apple is...expected to roll out a premium version of iPad 2--a higher resolution screen, front-/rear- facing HD cameras--in the current quarter," Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Rodman & Renshaw, wrote in a research note today. This follows similar reports about a high-end iPad in the works.
"It looks like Hon Hai is going into production with this new SKU," he said in a phone interview, citing supply chain sources.
Because Apple won't "sunset" the current iPad 2, just announced in March, it will be a model that "probably appeals to the publishing vertical and some other select segments," he said.
Wayne Lam, an analyst at IHS-iSuppli, said in an interview today it's "definitely within the realm of possibility. The true third-generation iPad would be on a yearly [timetable]. That said, I wouldn't preclude anything they could do incrementally."
Lam continued. "Anything modular that's in the device can be easily upgradeable. For example, the 3G module. Potentially they can upgrade to a 4G module. And the display. If it contains the same footprint, size, power requirements and if the OS supports higher resolution, [it's possible]," he said. iOS 5, due this fall, would need to support the upgrades, he said.

The cost of a better display is a concern, however, unless the iPad is a premium product targeted at certain professional segments, he said, echoing Kumar's comments. "To add incrementally more cost to it may be a challenge unless they market it as a professional version," he said.

FIRST NOKIA SMARTPHONE | NOKIA MANGO SMARTPHONE

First Nokia Mango-Powered Smartphone To Be Revealed On August 17th

Although, Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T, the first smartphone running on Windows Phone Mango was already announced, sources inside Microsoft whisper that the early fall will be full of such devices.
We already saw some pictures of such smartphones, running on Windows Phone Mango, and we remind you about HTC Eternity, with its huge 4.7-inch display and HTC Omega, a smartphone with very few specs leaked. Then, we saw the HTC Ignite and Prime, as well running on WP7, but which might be rebranded versions of the same models.
Then rumors told us about Nokia stepping up in the world of Windows Phone Mango, but only in October, at Nokia World 2011 event. Rumor has it that Samsung is readying a Galaxy S II version powered by Mango OS, and LG has a big WP7 portfolio already leaked on the web.
Nokia and Microsoft are “throwing a party” in Cologne, Germany, in mid-august. The reason? We don’t know for sure, as the details are to few, but we believe that the new Nokia Windows Phone 7 smartphone will be launched at the event.
After a disappointing Q2, Nokia hopes to make a spectacular come back on the smartphones market, and this is why they are working hard on a Windows Phone 7-based device.
The smartphone is build in a partnership with Microsoft and will be running on the famous Windows Phone 7.5 OS, dubbed Mango, which was launched on the first device a few days ago in Japan.
Nokia announced in June that their first Windows Phone 7 phone will have its premiere in 6 European countries, with Germany among them, a statement that fires up the speculations saying that we will see the WP7-powered Nokia device for the first time in Cologne.
Anyway we are eager to see of Nokia and Microsoft will reveal the new Windows Phone 7-powered smartphone on August 17th.

SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB 10.1 | SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB | LATEST SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB | LATEST SAMSUNG UPDATE | SAMSUNG LATEST PRODUCT

It was first reported that Apple and Samsung reached an agreement, so the Asian company accepted not to sell the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia.
Although we thought this will never happen it was rumored that Samsung will not sell their Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Australia because of a law suit in which they were accused by Apple for violating their patents.
The Apple vs Samsung law suits soap opera started in April, and yesterday some information surfaced saying that Samsung agreed to stop advertise and sell the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in Australia, until the court decides in the law suit Apple filed against them in Australia, and Apple decided to pay compensations if they loose the suit.
Apple will receive three Galaxy Tab 10.1 units in order to inspect them and see the differences between the version launched in US and the one developed for Australia.
The lawyer that represented Apple in the suit in the Australian court claimed that they will try to force stop Galaxy Tab 10.1 sales in other countries, too, but the Korean company will have to agree with their decision.
It was first believed that Apple started to win some ground over Samsung, but the Korean company said today that they will continue to sell their Galaxy Tab 10.1 tablet in Australia.
Anyway just when we forgot about the Apple vs Samsung lawsuits, a new scandal holds the first pages of the weblogs. It will be interesting to see how the two companies will reach an agreement, considering that Samsung will never give up substantial revenues and agree not to sell their products on certain markets.
On the other hand it will be interesting to see what will be the US courts’ decision regarding Apple’s lawsuits against Samsung, and if the Cupertino-based company wins, then Korean company will have serious troubles with their Galaxy line-up.
