Retina display iPad 3

Report: Retina display iPad 3 to hit in 'early' 2012

Pouring cold water on reports that Apple intends to launch the next version of the iPad this year, a new report says the company has yet to hit the trial production phase of the device.
The Wall Street Journal reported today that Apple is still in the process of pulling together parts from various vendors for a trial production of the device, which the Journal says is expected to begin sometime in October. A release is said to follow sometime early next year.
Previous reports hinted that Apple might surprise with a new model in time for this year's holiday-shopping season.
One point of note from the Journal's report is that Apple is, in fact, planning to offer a so-called Retina display. That's a panel with a pixel density high enough that the human eye can't make out pixels on items like text and rounded corners. For the iPad, that means the screen size remains the same as it's been in the first two models, except with double the resolution, or 2,048x1,536 pixels. Apple first introduced Retina displays to its own products with the iPhone 4, and it has since filtered down to the latest generation iPod Touch as well.
The news follows a report last month by The Korea Times saying both Samsung and LG were vying to produce higher resolution display panels for Apple's iPad follow-up. A report from DigiTimes earlier this week claimed neither company was reaching good enough yields of the display, which it said was keeping Apple from delivering a new version of the device this year.
A release early next year would coincide with the launch schedules of the previous two devices. The original iPad was launched on April 3, 2010, with its successor arriving less than a year later on March 2, 2011.

HTC OMEGA | New Windows Phone 7 | new windows phone | latest update of phone | HTC LATEST PRODUCT | NOKIA 800 | ACER M310

The first Windows Phone 7 devices became available last year at the end of October so it’s natural that for the platform to get a new line-up this fall with dual-core support and many other new features. Well, leaks of upcoming WP7 phones have started showing up and we can say that it’s going to be a busy summer for Microsoft and manufacturers who will push even more WP7 hardware to the market.
Elbert Perez is a developer who happens to create Windows Phone 7 applications and several weeks ago he begun posting the stats of his apps. Among the devices that played his games we can find Nokia 800, Acer M310, and HTC Omega among others.
If HTC is an already established Windows Phone 7 seller, while Nokia has already announced a partnership with Microsoft, then we can welcome Acer to the party. We know that Acer has officially said that it will develop a WP7 device but we haven’t seen to many details or references to such smartphone.
The Acer M310 will become the first Acer WP7 smartphone, just like the Nokia 800 which is probably the Sea Ray, a Mango-powered handset leaked several times. It’s unlikely for the Acer WP7 phone to be powered by a dual-core processor, but we can be pretty sure that it will run on the Mango update just like the Nokia Sea Ray which will also feature a single-core processor.
Let’s turn our attention to the Omega – we’ve heard this name before, but not much emphasis was put on it. Now we remember that it’s a WP7 smartphone powered by a single-core 1.5Ghz Snapdragon CPU (like the one found in the HTC Flyer), a 4.3-inch touchscreen with 800 x 480 resolution, 8-megapixel camera on the back with 720p HD video recording, and built-in 16GB flash memory.
None of these devices have been officially announced so far therefore we might be looking at some prototypes that will never become available to the market. The fall is nearing and WP7 should release lots of smartphones in order to compete against the new wave of Android phones and the iPhone 5 as the previous generation continues its poor selling run.

GOOGLE NEXUS PRIME | GOOGLE NEXUS PRIME LATEST UPDATE | REPORT OF GOOGLE NEXUS PRIME

Google Nexus Prime With Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Release Date Is October

Even though Samsung manufactured the second Google smartphone generation, Nexus S, some doubted that the search engine-based giant will choose the South Korean company to built the next gen Nexus, too.
Last time when we talked about a new Nexus model, names like HTC and LG where there, as potential manufacturers, and and a picture of a mysterious Motorola device made us think that this company might also be in the race to build the next Nexus.
According to some rumors, the next-gen Google smartphone, will be made by Samsung and will be called Nexus Prime.
Nexus Prime will be the first smartphone running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and it will feature a Super AMOLED HD display, with a resolution of 720p, or at least that’s what the “sources inside the company” say.
We can’t guarantee that the source of the following information is 100% reliable, but it seems that we are looking at the first set of specifications of the new smartphone in the Google Nexus range.
Recently known as Samsung Nexus Prime, the Google Phone will come with a AMOLED display with HD resolution, already a trend for the recently leaked smartphones (HTC Vigor, Motorola Droid HD).
Apparently, Google Nexus Prime will arrive with a 4.5-inch AMOLED HD display, a dual-core 1.5GHz CPU, which is better than the one of Galaxy S II (which is considered by many the smartphone of 2011).
Rumor has it that Samsung already order the parts for the new Google Nexus Prime and it seems that it will make the official debut in October, a news that can only make us happy, as it will be the first Android-powered phone with Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.
An October launch makes us think at one thing: Google wants to throw Nexus Prime in the fight with iPhone 5, the next-gen Apple smartphone expected to drop in the same month.
Even though Nexus Prime looks like a true rival for iPhone 5, I personally believe that Google will continue their usual marketing strategy and we won’t be seeing to many carriers selling the HD display, dual-core handset.

HTC To Hold Another Event In London On September 1st – Puccini Tablet And Ruby Phone In Sight?

HTC is known for releasing a lot of official information and press statements through Facebook and there’s a good reason for that. The world’s largest social networking website now features 750 million users across the globe so the company gets a lot of exposure on Facebook. Well, the UK division of HTC has just started an event on Facebook and it’s inviting people to join the company in London on September 1st because a big announcement will take place.
The Taiwan-based company has made a lot of important announcements in London as an impressive number of devices have been officially revealed somewhere in London. HTC invites people to come and see what’s next in the company’s future, fact which suggests that it will unveil new smartphones like the Ruby, and new tablets like the Puccini which might be called Skyrocket in Europe, while its US counterpart will be named Jetstream.
We suspect that HTC is not going to mix up Android and Windows Phone 7 devices therefore only the former OS will steal the show at the London event, while the latter will most likely get a special press event one or two weeks later in order to avoid confusion.
This is not the first time HTC organizes an event through Facebook as the show when the Sensation was unveiled was also organized with the help of the biggest social network in the world. At the moment there are no hints about the devices that will be revealed so we cannot confirm anything just for the sake of it.
Anybody can register for the event through Facebook at the source link below. It’s very easy to get a seat at the event as you only have to click on “I’m Attending” though we’re sure that HTC is confirm to confirm your presence one way or another in order to avoid having empty seats in two weeks time in London.
Let me know if you’re attending HTC’s event on September 1st in London using the comments section below!

      A Music Discovery Tool

There’s no doubt that the search engine-based monster is willing to continue their expansion, and after they announced a couple of days ago that they are willing to buy Motorola Mobility for not less than $12.5 billion, today we find out that they are adding one more search tool to their portfolio.
As you probably know Google Inc. is an US-based company that manages the web search engine with the same name.
Google was founded in 1988 by two PhD students at Stanford University, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google offers a simple and quick way of finding information on web, with a database of over 8 billion websites.
The company started with an investment of $100,000 coming from one of the co-founders of Sun Mircosystems, Andy Bechtolsheim, who thought that a search engine would revolutionize the Internet.
Since then Google continued to develop and from a simple search engine and the devs added various tools, like Google Maps, Google Docs and even an email client, GMail. Recently the search engine-based giant added voice and image search functions.
Google Magnifier is the name of a new search tool, meant to help the users of Music Beta service find music more easily, in order to extend their media files collections.

EA GAMES | EA GAMES UPDATES | EA GAMES LATEST UPDATES

Gamescom 2011 has begun today and it started with a bang as we’ve seen lots of interesting trailers including DOTA 2 and Borderlands 2, but what happened this afternoon in Cologne will probably never happen again. To put it simply: EA killed Gamescom. Oh, yeah, it really did! The EA press conference was absolutely tremendous, one of the best I’ve ever witnessed and it looks like the publisher is looking to repair the bad image that formed around the company in the past months.
The star of the event was Battlefield 3, of course, but the audience was impressed by Need For Speed: The Run. I was skeptical about this game as the previous three titles in the Need for Speed series were pretty boring. NFS: The Run brings back the fun and we are looking forward to the game’s release on November 15th on Windows PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 among others.
EA’s Gamescom 2011 keynote also revealed a new FIFA Street game that will feature double the amount of moves and tricks found in FIFA 12 so the game will be pretty big. FIFA Street 4 will have a revamped engine and many other new features that should gather together gamers in five vs five or six vs six across the globe. The game is launching next year on Xbox 360 and PS3, while PC users are left out in the cold.
A new FIFA 12 gameplay trailer was also released this afternoon and we’ve noticed a new gameplay engine that make the footballers more intelligent. EA said that FIFA 12 is the best game in the franchise it ever developed as it received positive feedback from all the people involved and those who have seen it in action.
EA revealed a new Player vs Player multiplayer online game for Windows PCs. The game is named Wrath of Heroes and it’s going to be launched soon. Everyone can sign up today for Wrath of Heroes Beta at this link here. Although the graphics will not be that great, it looks like a fun alternative to another free MMO game like League of Legends.
Star Wars: The Old Republic also made a cameo at EA’s press conference and it seems like the game is a record for the publisher. Currently, EA cannot keep up with the pre-orders for SWTOR Collector’s Edition and it asked the fans to remain patient as they will ship enough copies when the game launches. SWTOR was live demoed with the help of eight players and the audience gave them a well-deserved round of applause.
And then Mass Effect 3 took the scene with a gameplay trailer called Squad Leader. It consists of Commander Shepard leading his team into an endless fight. When it all seemed like it will turn out just fine, a mech warrior showed up to ruin the party and to let us know that Mass Effect 3 will not be an easy, dull game – it’s going to be big! The Mass Effect 3 release date is March 6th on the North American market.
A live trailer for SSX was also revealed and EA hopes that more than 100,000 gamers will play when the product will be completed. SSX was built using data from NASA and Google Earth, it will support Explore and Global Events modes, and friends’ ghosts. SSX will allow users to compete against other users in real time.
The Secret World will be a very fun game where all conspiracy theories and legends are true. The game’s release date is February 7th in North America and EA believes that we don’t even have an idea how cool is this game. Well, if it’s got big monsters like the one in the gameplay trailer, then I’d say that it will be really fun.
OK, now forget everything that you know about gaming because you actually don’t know anything. Although EA’s Battlefield 3 will definitely be sold in fewer units than Activision’s Modern Warfare 3, I’m going to admit that the former is my favorite. Still, we shouldn’t compare these two games, but they’re both about modern warfare so we’re going to make a comparison between the two.
When the part about Battlefield 3 was announced, the public went crazy and when it ended it left us wanting more. We want to see more, we want to play more, and want this game sooner. EA and DICE introduced a co-op mode for Battlefield 3 on the PS3, and despite the poor graphics, the rescue mission was lively and engaging.
But the real deal was the last trailer which involves a 64 multiplayer gaming action on a map called Caspian Border where we witnessed the return of the jets in Battlefield games. This trailer showed why Battlefield 3 is cool. Just think about it: 64-player multiplayer game!
The trailer showed PC in-game footage that you can watch below. If you do not watch it then you will miss everything. Battlefield 3 will be amazing when it launches later this year on October 25th across North America. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cooler trailer for a game and a better press conference. Everybody was very excited, and then thrilled about the gaming experience that BF3 will provide.
Modern Warfare 3 is just a FPS, while Battlefield 3 is a true war game. I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a real warfare game, but BF3 will probably provide the same experience as the original Medal of Honor games. Just watch the Battlefield 3 64-player multiplayer Caspian Border trailer below! Make sure you click the full HD button!
P.S. How come nobody spotted / talked about the jets in the cover / logo of Battlefield 3? They were right there all along!

GOOGLE LATEST UPDATE | GOOGLE UPDATE | GOOGLE MOTOROLA MOBILITY

Today in a surprising move, Larry Page, the CEO of Google, has officially announced that the search-engine based monster company will acquire Motorola Mobility. The news comes as a shock to all Apple and Microsoft lawyers, this purchase being more than it meets the skin. Although Android did not need a partner to strengthen its market share, which now is over 40 percent, Google brought a very tough company aboard its sailing ship.
As presented to the wild public, Motorola is indeed the first company to ever develop a phone. Those who are too small to remember, it was a beast of a device, requiring a little more than two hands to hold it. In a couple of years, Motorola also manufactured a phone that was too slim for its era. The name was StarTAC and had a clam-shell design that would change the face of the mobile world as we knew it. Also, a couple of years after, when Android was unleashed, Motorola chose it as the sole operating system for its lineup. The decision was a success, with the Motorola Droid being the first Android phone that made a huge impact on the masses.
Although the reasons presented above are strong enough to make a company sell itself to the highest bidder, Google had a “second” reason behind the acquisition. As you all know, Microsoft and Apple have recently teamed up to delay and why not, cancel, Android project by instating patent attacks. By purchasing Motorola, for only $12 billion, Google has gained access to a wide range of Android patents, which cannot be targeted by lawyers any more.
It is a win-win situation, for a desperate buyer and a not so confident seller, which will surely strengthen the Android domination. Now you should guess who will manufacture the Nexus 3, aka Prime.

HP PRE 3 | HP LATEST PRODUCT | HP LATEST UPDATE | HP PRODUCT IN MARKET

HP Pre 3 Now Being Sold In Europe For £299, North American Release Date Coming Soon

HP has begun selling the Pre 3 in Europe without making a lot of fuss in the media. A really weird decision that is as everybody loves WebOS because it’s fun, cool, and open, unlike Android or iOS. Although WebOS offers the best UI on the market, Palm couldn’t sell too many devices so HP bought the company a while back and it even announced great things to come about this operating system.
Well, the HP Pre 3 has been officially revealed more than six months ago, and some long-time fans were left waiting in disappointment. We don’t understand why HP didn’t announce a press conference or something, and release a press statement, but maybe the company isn’t focusing on the European market as WebOS was never a hit in London, Paris, Berlin, or Rome.
Love it or hate it, the HP Pre 3 is available for sale at the Palm Eurostore for a small price of £299. The WebOS-based smartphone is unlocked so this is a really decent price for such a gadget. HP has some retailer partners, too, like Box, and Clove so if you think that they’ll ship your Pre 3 faster, then you should pick them instead of Palm’s store. HP promises that the smartphone will ship in one or two business days.
The HP Pre 3 features a single-core 1.4GHz Snapdragon processor, 3.6-inch touchscreen at 800 x 480 resolution, 8GB built-in memory, 512MB RAM, sliding full QWERTY keyboard, 5-megapixel camera on the back with 720p HD video capture, VGA front-facing camera, WiFi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth, dual microphone with noise cancellation technology, and a 1,230mAh battery among others.
HP Pre 3 is powered by WebOS 2.2, unlike the HP TouchPad which ships with WebOS 3.0. It is unknown whether the Pre 3 will be upgradeable to version 3.0 at some point, but we believe that the next generation WebOS smartphone will run on the cutting-edge OS.
There are no official release dates for North America though HP confirmed that more details about the Pre 3 launch in the US will become available in the very near future and that we should wait patiently.
If you have £299 at your disposal then go ahead, hit the source link below, and purchase the HP Pre 3 at the Palm Eurostore. Let us know if you bought the device and if you cannot wait for it to arrive at your door.

iPhone 5 Release Date Is October 7th, Pre-orders Starting On September 30th?

There’s no day that passes by on weblogs without at least one rumor about the coming iPhone 5 launch, about how the new Apple smartphone will look like and what functions the new Apple gadgets will feature.
Since June, when we all expected to see the new iPhone 5 for the first time at WWDC 2011, the rumors about the new Apple smartphone seem endless.
Back then, the Cupertino-based company decided to delay the launch of their new iPhone, but in exchange, the showed us the new iOS 5 (which they released shortly after in the beta version), the new Mac OS X Lion (which was officially released less than one week ago), and the brand new Apple storage service, iCloud (which is scheduled for public release in late 2011).
Although there’s no official details about the release date of the new iPhone 5, but it seems that the guys at 9to5mac have managed to get their hands on some information indicating that the new Apple smartphone could be launched on October 7th.
The new information reveal that Apple might start ordering the iPhone 5 units to the suppliers towards the end of September, then, shortly after, to open a pre-order session for the customers. After posting your pre-order the new iPhone 5 will be shipped to your address on September 7th, while the other will have to queue in front of the Apple stores, on the same day, to buy the new device.
Anyway this is nothing but a rumor, and you should be aware that the official release date of the new iPhone 5 might be completely different.
Still, if 9to5mac got their rumors right, then Apple might schedule a new conference (in which they will present then new iPhone 5) for late September, and we should forget about the rumors saying that the new iPhone device will be officially revealed in early September.

The HTC Ruby has been leaked several times before so now we know that it will be an Android smartphone with a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 42Mbps HSPA+ support, and an 8-megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and full HD video recording. If Ruby was the known codename of the device, then now we finally found out the retail name of T-Mobile’s upcoming flagship smartphone: Amaze 4G.
HTC accustomed us with giving such names to its devices and it seems like these adjectives will never come to an end. I remind you that the Taiwan-based companies offers smartphones like the Desire, Sensation, Thunderbolt, Incredible, Bravo, and Wildfire. The 4.3-inch touchscreen device will be marketed as Amaze 4G by T-Mobile, so we’re guessing that it will be exclusively sold through T-Mo while other carriers like AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint will not get a taste of the smartphone.
According to the rumor mill, the HTC Ruby aka Amaze 4G release date is October 26th along with the Samsung Hercules, the Galaxy S II smartphone for T-Mobile, but the carrier has yet to come forward about these two handsets so we’re going to have to wait.
Meanwhile another HTC smartphone has been leaked somewhere in Germany. It goes by the name of Vigor and it’s packing some very interesting features like a 4.3-inch touchscreen at HD-ready 1280 x 720 resolution, dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor, 8MP camera, Android 2.3.4 with Sense UI, and Beats by Dr. Dre support.
The HTC Vigor will most likely become the first smartphone to support Beats technology after HTC recently signed an agreement with the company last week. A release date is not mentioned, but the design of the Vigor is not like anything we’ve seen before so we’re going to assume that it will replace the Legend.
HTC has made it official that it will release up to eight new smartphones by the end of the year and with so many leaks we’re going to assume that we pretty much know what the Taiwan-based company is cooking in the oven.
Until we’re going to officially get a taste of these 8 handsets, HTC has decided to file a suit against Apple citing three patents in the US. HTC’s patents concern WiFi technologies and PDA-cellphone combination so the Taiwanese firm wants the US to ban iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Apple computer sales across the country.
HTC says that Apple is using WiFi technologies in its computers without approval, and that the iPhone is a combination between PDAs and cellphones so justice must be made. Well , we believe that these lawsuits must come to an end soon because everyone is getting tired of them and it’s affecting the advancement in mobile technology.

MOTOROLA DROID | LATEST MOTOROLA DROID | MOTOROLA LATEST UPDATES | LATEST MOTOROLA PRODUCT | LATEST NEWS OF MOTOROLA

Google Inc recently announced they are up to buy Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, a move that made companies like Apple, Samsung and HTC fear that a strong competitor will raise form ashes.
Motorola Droid HD might be the first Motorola smartphone featuring a high-resolution display, similar to those of the new Retina Display series, prepared by Apple for the coming iPad tablets range.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until we discover the exact resolution of the 4.5-inch display developed by Motorola, but judging by the pictures quality and the text size, the pixels density is considerably higher than the one of the current generation of displays.
Except for the high resolution display, Droid HD doesn’t sport too many surprises when it comes to specs.

The operating system is animated by a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 la 1GHz processor, helped by 1GB of RAM. On the back case we were able to spot a 8MP camera featuring LED flash, capable of recording videos at 1080p resolution.
The internal memory can be extended by attaching a microSD card, you will insert in a side slot, hidden behind a hinge door.
By looking at the leaked pictures were were also able to spot a two buttons for adjusting the volume and a camera-dedicated button, a line-out for headphones (3.5mm jack), and mini USB and mini HDMI slots.
Along with Motorola Droid HD, we can see the Droid Bionic model in the pics, a 4.3-inch display smartphone, 13.3mm thick, significantly thicker than the 8.5-9mm of the HD model.
Although the parts of Motorola Droid HD are hosted by a slim case, the smartphone has a detachable battery, hidden behind a detachable lid.
As far as we know, Motorola Bionic will be launched on the US territory this fall, but the release date of Droid HD haven’t been scheduled yet, nor the acquisition price.
