A Music Discovery Tool

There’s no doubt that the search engine-based monster is willing to continue their expansion, and after they announced a couple of days ago that they are willing to buy Motorola Mobility for not less than $12.5 billion, today we find out that they are adding one more search tool to their portfolio.
As you probably know Google Inc. is an US-based company that manages the web search engine with the same name.
Google was founded in 1988 by two PhD students at Stanford University, Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google offers a simple and quick way of finding information on web, with a database of over 8 billion websites.
The company started with an investment of $100,000 coming from one of the co-founders of Sun Mircosystems, Andy Bechtolsheim, who thought that a search engine would revolutionize the Internet.
Since then Google continued to develop and from a simple search engine and the devs added various tools, like Google Maps, Google Docs and even an email client, GMail. Recently the search engine-based giant added voice and image search functions.
Google Magnifier is the name of a new search tool, meant to help the users of Music Beta service find music more easily, in order to extend their media files collections.
The newly launched site offers access to free music, recordings and live performances, interviews with artists and options that allows you to explore more music genres.
The features offered by Google Magnifier are developed to complete the functionality of Music Beta service, bringing lots of advantages for the company, in the fight with services like Amazon Cloud Music or Apple iCloud, the last one expected to make the official debut this fall.
Music Beta is a service launched by Google in May, current year, available for now in as testing version.
Music Beta allows the users to upload their music collections on Google servers, then you can listen to it anytime and from any computer or mobile device connected to Internet, by simply logging in to your Google Music Beta account.
