MOTOROLA DROID | LATEST MOTOROLA DROID | MOTOROLA LATEST UPDATES | LATEST MOTOROLA PRODUCT | LATEST NEWS OF MOTOROLA

Google Inc recently announced they are up to buy Motorola Mobility for $12.5 billion, a move that made companies like Apple, Samsung and HTC fear that a strong competitor will raise form ashes.
Motorola Droid HD might be the first Motorola smartphone featuring a high-resolution display, similar to those of the new Retina Display series, prepared by Apple for the coming iPad tablets range.
Of course, we’ll have to wait until we discover the exact resolution of the 4.5-inch display developed by Motorola, but judging by the pictures quality and the text size, the pixels density is considerably higher than the one of the current generation of displays.
Except for the high resolution display, Droid HD doesn’t sport too many surprises when it comes to specs.

The operating system is animated by a dual-core TI OMAP 4430 la 1GHz processor, helped by 1GB of RAM. On the back case we were able to spot a 8MP camera featuring LED flash, capable of recording videos at 1080p resolution.
The internal memory can be extended by attaching a microSD card, you will insert in a side slot, hidden behind a hinge door.
By looking at the leaked pictures were were also able to spot a two buttons for adjusting the volume and a camera-dedicated button, a line-out for headphones (3.5mm jack), and mini USB and mini HDMI slots.
Along with Motorola Droid HD, we can see the Droid Bionic model in the pics, a 4.3-inch display smartphone, 13.3mm thick, significantly thicker than the 8.5-9mm of the HD model.
Although the parts of Motorola Droid HD are hosted by a slim case, the smartphone has a detachable battery, hidden behind a detachable lid.
As far as we know, Motorola Bionic will be launched on the US territory this fall, but the release date of Droid HD haven’t been scheduled yet, nor the acquisition price.
