FIRST NOKIA SMARTPHONE | NOKIA MANGO SMARTPHONE

First Nokia Mango-Powered Smartphone To Be Revealed On August 17th

Although, Fujitsu Toshiba IS12T, the first smartphone running on Windows Phone Mango was already announced, sources inside Microsoft whisper that the early fall will be full of such devices.
We already saw some pictures of such smartphones, running on Windows Phone Mango, and we remind you about HTC Eternity, with its huge 4.7-inch display and HTC Omega, a smartphone with very few specs leaked. Then, we saw the HTC Ignite and Prime, as well running on WP7, but which might be rebranded versions of the same models.
Then rumors told us about Nokia stepping up in the world of Windows Phone Mango, but only in October, at Nokia World 2011 event. Rumor has it that Samsung is readying a Galaxy S II version powered by Mango OS, and LG has a big WP7 portfolio already leaked on the web.
Nokia and Microsoft are “throwing a party” in Cologne, Germany, in mid-august. The reason? We don’t know for sure, as the details are to few, but we believe that the new Nokia Windows Phone 7 smartphone will be launched at the event.
After a disappointing Q2, Nokia hopes to make a spectacular come back on the smartphones market, and this is why they are working hard on a Windows Phone 7-based device.
The smartphone is build in a partnership with Microsoft and will be running on the famous Windows Phone 7.5 OS, dubbed Mango, which was launched on the first device a few days ago in Japan.
Nokia announced in June that their first Windows Phone 7 phone will have its premiere in 6 European countries, with Germany among them, a statement that fires up the speculations saying that we will see the WP7-powered Nokia device for the first time in Cologne.
Anyway we are eager to see of Nokia and Microsoft will reveal the new Windows Phone 7-powered smartphone on August 17th.
