Amazon To Launch New Kindle And Android-powered Tablet

AMAZON UPCOMING TABLET:

New Amazon Tablet

The books e-books enthusiasts that still don’t have an e-book reader the fall is coming with two new temptations for them, this time from Amazon. The name Kindle, needs no introduction.
The interesting thing, as we told you before, is that the two Kindles could be powered by Google’s Android and have tablet-ish configurations. But let’s forget about the configuration, as the big mystery about the new Amazon Kindle is the display coming with the device, as taking a look at the OS rumors, we believe it will be a LCD  touch just like it happens to 99.9% of the tablets, but also for other marketed products like e-book readers (Nook Color).
The two Amazon e-readers will enter different market segments: one on the high-end market, for wealthy customers, the other on the entry-level market or mainstream.
Even though the first rumors about an Android tablet appeared a few months ago, saying that Samsung will probably build their tablet, the guys at Wall Street Journal are coming with new rumors. The Amazon tablet will be a serious competitor for iPad, as all the other tablets are (more or less).
Anyway the Amazon tablet will not feature a camera (an uninspired move, I’d say) and will be optimized for the products in the company’s virtual store: books, movies and music.
The tablet will most likely have a 9-inch display, and, as aforementioned, will be a good host for Google’s OS, Android. There are also two new Kindle version rumors, one for low budget and the other one for the ones in love with touch panels, but the details are too poor.
But whe? We expect to get our hands on it by the end of October. And if we talk about Amazon portfolio changes, we have to mention that there are considerable sales on their Kindle products.
The AT&T ads e-book reader version is $25 cheaper, from $164 to $139.
