iPHONE 5 LATEST UPDATE | DELAY FOR LAUNCH OF IPHONE 5

iPhone 5 Launch Delayed Due To Apple A5 CPU Overheating

iPhone 5

Since WWDC 2011, when everyone was expecting to see the new iPhone 5, the rumors about the next-gen Apple smartphone have invaded the webolgs. Some of them seem plausible, while other are just fiction.

I’ll start by saying that he following information is just a rumor, as chances it becomes reality are a little low. Even so, they sound like a valid reason for Apple to postpone their iPhone 5 launch.
According to a Chinese website, Apple have decided to delay iPhone 5 June launch because of issues causing the A5 chipset to overheat. We have already seen the A5 chipset on iPad 2 tablet, but it seems that Apple can’t keep the processor’s temperature to a low enough level for their coming iPhone 5, thus the next-gen iPhone will not even hit the market in September, as it was rumored, but sometimes in 2012.
The website launching the rumor continues and writes that the device Apple will launch in September will feature a dual-core processor, but mounted on the A4 chipset, and not on the brand new A5. This translates into Apple launching an minor update for iPhone and now a whole new product.
The overheat problem might have existed, but I personally believe that Apple already found a way to fix it and iPhone 5 will be launched in the fall, as Apple urgently needs a more powerful iPhone in order to be able to cope with the numerous Android-powered dual-core smartphones.
Besides the info regarding the launch of iPhone 5, the website claims that Apple will develop an A6 chip using 28 nanometers technology, but they will no longer develop it in a partnership with Samsung, but with Taiwanese company.
And iPhone 4S/5 with a A4 dual-core chipset seems plausible, but it wouldn’t be strong enough to battle the dual-core Android smartphones. That’s why we believe that the information is not reflecting Apple’s intentions.
