Brother MW-260 mobile printer
Brother makes a few superthin mobile thermal printers, including the top-of-the-line MW-260, which retails for $500.
According to Brother: "The MW-260 delivers up to three postcard-size monochrome prints per minute at an easy-to-read resolution of 300 dpi. The MW-260 uses Thermal Transfer Technology, so there are no ink cartridges or ribbons to change. It accommodates 4.1x5.8-inch/A6 size paper, which is loaded into the device via a 50-sheet capacity autofeed cassette and delivers professional-looking, cut-sheet documents."
Canon Pixma MX7600
Canon's Pixma MX7600's got a bit more design flair than your average all-in-one inkjet.
Editor Justin Yu's bottom line:
"The Canon Pixma MX7600 multifunction is a huge improvement over the previous model. With additional features such as an autoduplexer, increased faxing options, and an upgraded control cockpit, we have no problem recommending the MX7600."
Canon Selphy ES3
Canon offers a few different portable printers with interesting designs. The ES3 is the higher-end model, retailing for $199.99.
It has a 5.3-inch LCD for previewing images, slots for all major memory card formats, built-in memory for storing up to 999 photos, and an optional Canon Bluetooth Unit BU-30 that offers wireless printing from cell phones and other Bluetooth-enabled cameras.
Dell PZ310 Wasabi mobile printer
Dell's $99 Wasabi mobile printers use Polaroid's "zero ink" technology called Zink. Instead of buying ink, you buy special Zink photo paper that will run you around $10 for 30 sheets.
The user reviews haven't been too great for this one, but it sure looks fetching from the outside (alas, looks can be deceiving).
Epson Artisan 835
This reasonably priced, good-performing multifunction inkjet has an LCD display and nice lines for an all-in one. It can be had for around $200.
Epson PictureMate Show PM 300
Now here's a concept: combine a portable printer with a photo frame. That's right, Epson's PictureMate Show PM 300 has a built-in 7-inch wide-screen display for showing off your photos. And then, of course, you can print them out.

Epson PictureMate Charm PM225 mobile printer
Yes, Epson's $149.99 PictureMate Charm PM225 looks a little like a cooler when folded up. It has a 2.5-inch LCD built-in and can print 4x6 photos in 33 seconds, according to Epson.

Epson Stylus Pro 3880
We thought we'd throw one good-looking, really high-end printer into the mix, and Epson's line-topping Stylus Pro 3880 is it. Cost: around $1,200.
HP Envy 100
"Boasting a touch-screen display, an app store, and ePrint (a remote printing service), the HP Envy 100 features loads of innovation in a slickly designed chassis. We wouldn't buy this printer for its image quality, but the convenience of ePrint and the potential of the ePrintCenter app store earn the HP Envy 100 our recommendation."
HP Photosmart eStation C510
You might have heard about a printer that comes with its own detachable Android-powered tablet (the Zeen). HP's C510 is it.
Editor Justin Yu liked its Web-connectivity features, but wasn't so keen on some other issues. Here's what he has to say in his bottom line (the price has dropped since he wrote the review):
"For all the cool points the HP Photosmart eStation C510 earns for Web-connectivity features like ePrint and the detachable Android-powered Zeen, we're holding off on our recommendation until HP drops the price and fixes the user interface bugs and network errors that marred our testing."
Kodak ESP 9250
The Kodak ESP 9250 ($249.99) was on the bubble, but we decided to include it because it's got some curb appeal. Not a ton, but some.
Lexmark Genesis S815
Lexmark says its new Genesis S815 has the world's fastest scanning technology in an inkjet all-in-one. We haven't tested it yet, but it's supposed to be able to print up to 33 ppm (black) and scan your documents using special Flash Scan technology.

Polaroid GL10 Instant Mobile Printer
Lady Gaga signed on to promote Polaroid products and she helped introduce the new GL10, which retails for $169.99. The GL10 costs a lot more than the Polaroid Pogo instant printer, but the GL10 does use second-generation Zink "zero ink" technology. Instead of buying ink, you buy special Zink photo paper that will run you around $10 for 30 sheets.

Samsung Slim personal laser printer (ML-1630)
Samsung actually introduced this sleek ML-1630 laser a few years ago along with a couple of other models, including the multifunction SCX-4500W. This model remains on sale, so we thought we'd include it.
Cost: Around $179.
