Google+ Social Network Wants To Beat Facebook

We don’t like to stir controversy but Google is going to be “punched” with a lawsuit from Facebook as the search giant has revealed a social networking service of its own. It’s called Google+ and it looks exact like Facebook. Google has probably copied the user interface of Facebook because the social networking service works OK right now, and personally, I believe that the search company will fail once again in trying to become “more social.”
Google has already tried to push Buzz and Wave to the internets, but private beta testing, lack of features, hard to understand UI, and other reasons have taken these two services into the oblivion so El Goog thought it would be better to copy-paste Facebook.
Google Plus is also available for download on Android smartphones, and the mobile app looks very similar to theFacebook mobile app found on Android and iOS devices. For the moment Facebook didn’t react at Google+, but we’re sure that Mark Zuckerberg will say something about this.
There is no secret that Google is one of the most successful technology-related companies, but social networking has never been its “thing.” Now Google wants to beat Facebook at its own game with its own weapons and with the addition of video chat support.
The video chat feature of Google+ is not enough for people to adopt this new social networking website. You still have to bring a new product to the market which does things differently. There are many things wrong with Facebook, but… it’s Facebook and it has reached 750 million active users monthly and at the moment there’s no need for a new social networking website like there’s no need for Facebook to release a search engine or a web browser of its own.
Like said, Google+ is in limited trial so you will need an invitation to access the service. For the moment Google is not handing out more invites, but hit the source link below and click “Keep me posted” and you will receive an email when registrations become open.
Download Google+ free for Android smartphones here.
Google has also unveiled an interesting and useful project called Swiffy. This new tool allows Chrome and Safari users to convert Adobe Flash animations into HTML5 in order to save some load time. The internet is moving away from Adobe Flash Player and Google Swifft will help you get rid of it.
The Swiffy conversion will be almost as good as the original Flash animation, though you might experience some crashes and other minor inconvenience while testing the new tools.
